    Second Line Support Engineer

    Locatie: Vlaams-Brabant

    Voor één van zijn klanten is Itelco op zoek naar een Second Line Support Engineer in de regio Vlaams-Brabant.

    Onze klant is een Belgisch bedrijf dat gedurende een aantal jaren een reputatie heeft opgebouwd als gespecialiseerde serviceverlener voor kmo's. Om haar gestadigde groei te blijven ondersteunen wenst onze klant haar team uit te breiden met een Second Line Support Engineer.

    Functie

    Als 2nd Line Support Engineer staat u in voor:

    • Het design, installeren en onderhouden van de bestaande en nieuwe IT-klanten, dit gericht op Cloud Computing;
    • Het verzorgen van de interne traingen aan het bestaande support-team;
    • Ondersteunen van de First Line support bij complexere problemen.

    Uw profiel

    Voor deze functie beschikt u reeds over:

    • Ervaring met MS Windows Server 2003, 2008, 2008R2;
    • Kennis van Active Directory, IIS en SQL;
    • Een certificatie in Citrix of MS;
    • Een minimum A1 diploma in een informatic richting of reeds een aantal jaar ervaring;
    • Goede kennis van de Nederlandse en Franse taal.

    Tivoli System Analyst

    We are currently looking for a System Analyst with a good command of Tivoli, for one of our clients, a multinational IT consulting company.

    Mission:

    - As a Tivoli System Analyst, you will be responsible for the 1st line support of the Tivoli Framework

    -  You will support the system support teams during the implementation of the monitoring system and the team in charge of TV Broadcasting completed through Tivoli.

    - You will be in charge of the publication of the KPI and the updates of internal documentation

     

    Profile :

    Fluent in French and in English, you have a strong command of the following technologies:
    - TIVOLI framework, TCM (Tivoli Configuration Manager for the Distribution and Remote Control)
    - ITM 5/6, ITCAM (for RTT, Application Diagnostic and Microsoft Application Exchange)

     

    Offer:

    This opportunity is open to freelances and contractors. We offer a 6 months contract with possible extension.

    Our client is a service provider, specialized in IT management and telecommunication. On the European Level they are specialized in Telecommunication and Outsourcing services.

     

    Currently they are urgently looking for IT juniors with a passion for IT, in order to grow with their projects within support services.

     

    Job Description

     

    As a Service Desk Operator you will be in charge of the First Level technical support towards professional users.

     

    As you are responsible for technical Network & Hard/Software support you will be able to grow into System/Network administration and engineering positions

     

    Responsibilities:

     

    • Pickup phone, input calls, eventually support following predefined procedures pass through to the next level of escalation. (70% is solved in First line!)
    • Accurate identification of user problems via IT support tools + remote tools.
    • Accurate and/or timely escalation of problems to second level support group.
    • Correct identification of the cause of the problem and determination of the most suitable solution.
    • Promotion of the services of the IT call centre to the customer.

    Skills Required

     

    • Most important is a passion for IT and Support
    • A bachelor IT // Evening courses // Equal by experience or Personal Training
    • Very good Knowledge of MS Windows
    • Very good Knowledge of MS Office
    • Basic knowledge in networks
    • Motivation, discipline, structure
    • Fluent in Dutch, French and English

    Job Description

     

    • Solution of the call at second level, by phone (using a Remote Control Tool) and on-site
    • Installation and configuration of standard software packages
    • Support to PC end users
    • Solution of hard- and software technical problems
    • Office automation
    • Training of PCs end-users

     

    Skills required

     

    • You have a bachelors degree in IT
    • You have excellent competences in the MS Office suite,
    • You have a good knowledge of Hard and Software,
